Hello.
Is the GNU Make that comes with Strawberry Perl still broken?
I tried building EPICS Base 3.14.12.4, with the Known Problems patches
applied, on Windows 7 for win32-x86 using the "gmake" included with
Strawberry Perl 5.20.1.1, and it succeeded. The "gmake" program
identified its version as "4.0.90" on the command line when executed
with the "--version" option. According to
http://www.aps.anl.gov/epics/base/win32.php
the GNU Make that comes with Strawberry Perl is broken. Is this still
true, or does the fact that I was able to build EPICS Base successfully
suggest that perhaps the problem has been fixed?
Thank you!
Lewis
