Hi, Ralph (and Michael). I am most certainly aware of the NSLS debian
archive, and have been using it extensively. It's a godsend as far as
I'm concerned.
We also now have debian packaging for pyepics, pcaspy, and medm that we
would love to contribute to the archive. I'll bring it up in a separate
thread, though, once we've had a chance to polish them off.
