Hi Pete,

I just tested medm 3.1.9 on Fedora 15 and I did not have problems.  You are setting the display precision of User Specified when in edit or run mode?  I don't think you can change it in edit mode, only at runtime.

What motif package are you using?  I believe I am using lesstif-devel-0.95.2-2.fc15.x86_64.

Hi,
I've attached a medm screen. I'm having problems with the Bar Monitor
widget.

In edit mode:

Setting direction to "up" gives:
*** stack smashing detected ***: medm terminated

Setting display precision to User Specified gives:
SIGSEGV

[1]+  Aborted                 (core dumped) medm scintscal.adl

This is with medm-3.1.9 and epics base-3.14.12.4 on Ubuntu 14.10.

Anyone else having problems?
