This works best if the PV itself provides the items, i.e. you use an enumerated PV (bi, bo, mbbi, mbbo) or an enumerated field (any record’s SCAN, HSV, .. fields):

Use a “Menu Button”, enter PV name, select “Actions from PV”.

Or use a “Combo”, enter PV name, select “Actions from PV”.

If you can’t get the “Actions from PV”, de-select that and enter the “Items” one by one.
