Hi Li,
These messages look like the pv name is indeed wrong.
If you do a "dbl" on your IOC - is the pv name that you want to
reach really "${pv}"? That looks quite unusual.
Make sure you don't have spaces or illegal characters in the pv on
the caget/cainfo command line.
Are you using the CA command line tools on the same host as the
IOC, or on a different machine?
