Hi, Yong. Sorry for the very late reply. Maybe this answers your
question about "technical staff responsive[ness]" ;)
We do not interface with the GS ADCs/DACs directly from EPICS. They are
handled in our fast, real-time system, via custom linux kernel modules.
We do not provide source code for linux drivers, and I'm not sure if GS
does either. Should check with them.
The GS ADCs and DACs have been quite reliable, as far as we can tell.
