Argonne is currently inviting applications for the position of APS-AES
Controls Group Leader. The core mission of AES is to provide
state-of-the-art engineering, computing and facility infrastructure to
enable world-leading performance of the APS in a safe environment. In
addition, AES leverages this expertise to collaborate with national and
international partners in the development of new technologies. You will
be responsible for the performance, development and maintenance of the
accelerator control system at the APS. Additionally, you will coordinate
and directly work with the APS Upgrade project to make certain the
controls implementations integrate seamlessly within the existing
control system, while meeting project-specific requirements.
