Hi Mark,

   No licensing was involved. I am willing to give the design to anyone. They asked :) The Sydor implementation has additional features; a built-in power supply and a bias supply. Not sure what else they changed.

I think BNL licensed this design to Sydor, so you will need to ask Pete Siddons if the license allows BNL to openly share the design.

Hi all.

I've just started reading Mark Rivers' documentation for the quadEM
device support package. In there, he mentions that there is support for
two devices that are products of accelerator labs:

The NSLS Quad Electrometer (called NSLS_EM in this document). This
   device consists of a 4-channel digital electrometer unit with Ethernet
   communication. The device provides 4-channel current measurements at
   up to 2500 Hz.

The Quad Electrometer built by Steve Ross from the APS (called APS_EM
   in this document). This device consists of a 4-channel digital
electrometer
   unit and 2 VME boards. The device provides 2 readings per diode at
   up to 813 Hz.

Can anyone tell me whether those devices are available in any form? Open
hardware design, outright purchase, evaluation loan, etc? If anyone
knows a contact person regarding either one, that would be
great to know.
