I'm trying to build the cross-gcc cross-compiler for vxWorks 5.4.2
(tornado 2.0.2) on linux for a legacy system we have. At this time,
upgrading to a newer version of vxWorks is not an option.
I'm using the SNS sources from
http://ics-web.sns.ornl.gov/dht/
and following the instructions in the README files to configure and build.
Version 2.7.2 fails because the gnu.cpp directory appears to be just
an empty directory tree. I'm guessing this is not correct. Does anyone
have another copy of this?
Version 2.9.6 fails due to errors that depend on what platform I build
it on (I've tried RHEL6 32-bit,
RHEL6 64-bit, RHEL5 32-bit). Has anyone successfully built this on a
modern linux platform?
