Hi Mark,

I am using asyn port driver for LCLS1 mission readiness project,

and now am trying to integrate it with our Beam Synchronous Acquisition (BSA) system.

The BSA assumes, data source PV is processed every time, even the PV has same value with the previous processing,
the PV should be processed and should have new timestamp. The new timestamp is an index key for the BSA.

I am using asyn port driver for the data source PVs.

In asyn port driver, if parameter has same value (no change), it does not make record processing.

Is there any option to make force record processing even no change on the parameter?
