MessageBoxA() is a MS Windows call to bring up an alert box, and is
found in user32.dll. You could try linking to that library.

Those warnings look rather ominous, I would suggest investigating them
to make sure they aren't going to cause problems. The time_t type on
Windows may have changed from 32 to 64-bit since this code was written.
