Dear all,
The November EPICS Collaboration Meeting will be hosted by ANSTO at the Australian Synchrotron in the suburbs outside Melbourne, Victoria between 12th and 16th of November. As per usual, we’ll aim to organise some
workshops and satellite meetings on the first two days followed by the conference from Wednesday morning till Friday after lunch.
The meeting website currently only contains some basic information and is available at
https://events01.synchrotron.org.au/e/EPICS
More content will be added soon, in the meanwhile, however, please have a look at the Scientific Programme to get a feel of some potential topics and start to consider what talks you could contribute. We like the idea of lightning talks
so we’ll provide time slots for both 20 minute (15 + 5 for Q&A) and 5 minute talks. This should give everyone a chance to put together an interesting presentation on their latest achievements.
At this point we don’t think any financial contribution will be necessary, expect for the optional conference dinner. Registrations and call for abstracts will open shortly and will be communicated here.
Looking forward to seeing you in, by then comfortably warm, Melbourne.
Andraz Pozar and Andrew C. Starritt
