Hello, Tom,
we want to use Jupyter noteboos in the context of "Blueksy" (https://blueskyproject.io/) also for recording data and running
experiments. At the moment we only control small things like demagnetization and optimization of beam paths.
Not a complete experiment, but we would like to do that.
The notebooks are currently "managed" in the environment of "The Littlest JupyterHub" (http://tljh.jupyter.org/en/latest/).
Here we are not quite sure how to proceed, but we are very confident that this can work for our size (we are a very small installation).

It seems a nice idea to be able to scan a sample from the notebook, perform analysis on it, then use the results to inform the next scan. However, I am not sure how this would work in practice, especially with respect to version control of the notebooks, and how to track the data produced by cells that scanned a sample when the cell was re-run.
