Some of you might have noticed a Base-3.15.8 release that appeared on the APS EPICS website a couple of weeks ago. I waited to announce it until today’s release of EPICS 7 was completed too; we have just made EPICS 7.0.4 available for download as well.

Information about these releases and tar-files for their source code can be found at the links below:


As always, questions and problems should be raised first here on tech-talk.

Many thanks to all the EPICS Core Developers and the attendees at the EPICS Codeathon at Diamond in February, where many of the fixes, new features and documentation enhancements were worked on.

One final reminder, responses to the survey we sent out for interest in attending a Virtual Codeathon are due by the end of Friday this week.
