Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System

Hi Ralph,
Thanks for the link. Indeed it’s a very nice starting point and very helpful but I am looking for something more detailed, specifically into the details of the
code (without having to go into all the code).
I found this link
http://epics-pvdata.sourceforge.net/informative/developerGuide/developerGuide_V4Release4_6.html, which is very useful but it is not clear to me if this is the latest version as it indeed mentions V4 not V7 and is dated 2016. Is there an equivalent developer
document for V7 which is relatively up to date?
Kind regards,
Tom

Hi Tom,
Formal detail: There is no EPICS v4, at least not anymore. What started out under that name as a replacement for EPICS Base 3.x eventually became an additional set of modules and was merged to form EPICS 3 + 4 = 7.
