cagateway question

hi, 

I have a test ca gateway server which works well. Now I want to convert PVs from "tttaiExample1,tttaiExample2..." to "gtai1, gtai2...". I followed the example file, simply use ALIAS function in pvlist like this:

tttaiExample\([0-9]\) ALIAS gtai\1 

but can't get the pv value of gtai1, gtai2. 

what's the reason? it should work.
