Dear collegues, virtual and in-person attendes and all authors,
two weeks ago we had the honor to host the EPICS collaboration meeting in Ljubljana.
We had
more than 100 attendees in total, of that 32
external (non-CosylaB)
in-person participants. There were in-person
and virtual authors, presenting at
every time of the day. We think the hybrid option was a great addition to the meeting and are happy you could
all be there.
In the sense of a sharing community, the collaboration meeting was recorded
and videos are published as per agreement with presenters. You can find the links to the lectures on the indico web page for the EPICS collaboration
meeting - here.
On this spot we
want to especially thank
Ralph Lange from ITER
for his help throughout the preparation and organization of the meeting! It was greatly appreciated and much needed.
😉
And we want to thank you all for participating, providing and presenting the themes, and adding a great spirit to the meeting.
We thought it was great and provided all the good collaboration needs: new ideas, new technic, great practices, and new questions for the next collaboration meeting 🙂!
Thank you again and see you next time!
Best regards,
Rok and Minca (for the organizing committee)

Dear tech-talkers,
the EPICS meeting is approaching fast. We are looking forward to welcoming you in Ljubljana.
So far, we have received a number of very good abstracts. However, there are still enough empty slots on the agenda for anyone who still might be considering presenting
something. So, in the spirit of EPICS meeting tradition, we are asking you to not be shy and register your talks for everyone's benefit.
😊
Thanks and see you soon,
Rok

Dear tech-talkers,
If you haven't heard EPICS collaboration meeting is hybrid - in person and virtual, so we invite you to take the opportunity and present your work in
person or virtually.
We still have time slots available and would love to hear from you!
We prolonged the abstract deadline, but please provide us with the abstract and title by the latest 31. 8. 2022 at the https://indico.cern.ch/event/1173788/abstracts/.
And we also invite you to register - if you didn't
yet - for the virtual or live event and join us for both workshops and the council meeting, the registrations are open until 31.8.2022.
Lastly, last week we proposed the workshops on the 19. and 20.9, the list is not 100% final - it depends on expressed interest and perhaps we will be able to add additional topics. We would invite
you to check in your preferences if you are interested in the topics and/or already registered. https://indico.cern.ch/event/1173788/page/25739-workshops-and-trainings
See you in person -- or virtually -- in Ljubljana!
Best regards,
Rok and Minca (for the organizing committee)

Dear tech-talkers,
It’s time for your regular EPICS collaboration workshop update.
Due to popular demand driven by the current health and travel restrictions worldwide, we would like to inform you that the EPICS collaboration meeting in Ljubljana will have a virtual
platform -- and you will be able to attend the collaboration meeting and the workshops remotely.
We have arranged separate registrations (with reduced fee) for the remote options at: https://indico.cern.ch/event/1173788/registrations/.
The workshops on the 19. and 20.9 are proposed and are awaiting participants. The list is not 100% final - it depends on expressed interest and perhaps we will be able to add additional
topics. We would also like to invite you to check in your preferences if you are interested in the topics and already registered. https://indico.cern.ch/event/1173788/page/25739-workshops-and-trainings
Otherwise, we invite you to register for the virtual or live event and invite you to present your work and the topics you believe would interest you at this September's EPICS collaboration
meeting in Ljubljana (live or virtually)! We prolonged the abstract deadline, but please provide us with the abstract and title by the latest 26. 8. 2022 at the https://indico.cern.ch/event/1173788/abstracts/.
See you in person -- or virtually -- in Ljubljana!

Dear
Tech-talkers,
We would like to invite you to present your work and the topics you believe would be of interest at this September's EPICS collaboration meeting in Ljubljana! We prolonged the abstract deadline, but please provide us with the abstract and title by the latest
26. 8. 2022 at the https://indico.cern.ch/event/1173788/abstracts/.
The EPICS collaboration meeting is getting a more defined look, and the webpage is updated weekly at: https://indico.cern.ch/event/1173788/.
Note: the scientific program may change somewhat as we are still accepting suggestions
(for workshops as well).
We received several questions/requests about remote participation (hybrid workshop) and we are currently checking if we can support this for the whole week. Expect to hear
more about this shortly.
See you in Ljubljana!
Best regards,
Rok and Minca (for the organizing committee)
