Hi,
We at ESS also developed the Ocean Optics (Ocean Insight now) using SeaBreeze. It was QEPro for Raman spectroscopy and implementation for ortho/para ratio measurement.
Now I am doing refactoring the code and would be nice to joint your project. Jörn could you also give me an access to your repository?
Our repository is here: https://gitlab.esss.lu.se/epics-modules/qeproasyn but as I said there will be a new version in a couple of days. I have access to two spectrometers QEPro and hr4Pro. But we are implementing it using ESS EPICS, which differ from the official one. The source code is the same but compilation and configuration not.
We will also make a conda package for it.

Cheers
Tomasz

Hi Alexander,

I have developed some Time ago code for reading the OcenOptics Spectrometers
using SeaBreeze. I invited you as a guest to the codebase.helmholtz.cloud
repository of this areaDetector subproject. Feel free to take a look at the
code. It might need some extensions for certain types of spectrometers. I had
only a Flame available when developing the code. If you want to make changes,
I am happy to change your role to developer, so that you can commit changes.
Maybe together we can mature the code, such that it can become part of
areaDetector in the future.

Regards,

Jörn

I'm not able to access this web page. My fear is, that newer versions of the
spectrometers are not compatible with SeaBreeze anymore.
