Thank you, Yong, for testing and fixing issues.

 

Yong added  “ bpm_DBD += PVAServerRegister.dbd” and enabled PVA.

$pvget SR-C14:BxBPM-1:Pos:X-I

SR-C14:BxBPM-1:Pos:X-I 2023-08-30 09:37:21.003  5.02208

Kiman, I can help you with this. My guess is that some PVA variables need to be re-configured due to our internal networks. --Yong

Michael,

 

I attempted to enable PVA to the existing pscDrv IOC but got a timeout error.

I just added two lines in Makefile and compiled them correctly.

 

#Adding Makefile

bpm_DBD += qsrv.dbd

bpm_LIBS += qsrv

 

$ pvget SR-C14:BxBPM-1:Pos:X-I

Timeout

 

$ caget SR-C14:BxBPM-1:Pos:X-I

SR-C14:BxBPM-1:Pos:X-I         5.02535

 

Did I miss something, and how do I check that the PVA server is running?
