Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System
|
I have written a Phoebus plug-in for Fermilab's existing control system. To minimize computing and networking resources, I only create one PV object per device. Is that standard practice? My concern is that when a display is closed by the user, Phoebus
may call the close() method while other widgets are still listening to that same object.
Thanks
