This message is both a test, and an apology to tech-talk readers who use
the RSS feed and/or read archived messages. On August 23rd the tech-talk
archives and RSS feeds stopped working due to the reconfiguration of
some email systems at APS, with the exception of 4 messages that made
it through on August 28th. Unfortunately I don't have time to extract
all the lost messages from my personal Deleted folder and upload them,
although if there are specific messages that anyone wants a copy of I
should be able to find them.
If anyone else out there keeps their own mbox archive of tech-talk and
can extract the missing messages I would be happy to receive a copy and
upload them to restore the lost history.
