to add support for FreeBSD 14 in libbsd. It will be a new branch called
6-freesd-14. The 6-freebsd-12 branch will continue to be supported until the
6-freebsd-14 branch is stable.

I have been updating those patches so they can be merged and we can all move
back the epics-base repo.
