I should also note that setting PINI to YES will leave this record with a INVALID LINK alarm as the PVA link is unlikely to be connected by the time of the initial process scan.

Depending on your desired reconnect behavior, you may wish to investigate the "retry" link option.

retry. For an output link, and true (not default), then the most recent incomplete PUT will be re-tried when the target PV (re)connects.
