EPICS OPCUA Module build

Hi All,
just looking at EPICS at the moment, got the basics working and now 
would like to use the OPCUA module, but finding it hard going to build it.
I'm in windows using EPICS base 7.0.9, mingw64 and gmake.
I have cloned the OPCUA code and also download the open62541 1.13.17 
code. but I'm not sure what to do next. Using one of the AIs I managed 
to get to a certain point, but I keep on getting errors.
to do gmake on the OPCUA folder I need somehow to tell it to use the 
open62541 1.13.17 code or perhaps build the open62541 code first?
I been around the release files and config_site,but I'm just going in 
circles. Is there a good tutorial that I can have a look at the stages 
of getting this done?
I had a look at the documentation, but it didn’t help, perhaps because 
of my lack of understanding of what is required.
any help would be appreciated.
