Dear EPICS community,

Although I unfortunately missed the last EPICS meeting at CEA this April due to an Achilles tendon rupture, I followed the event from afar and I am already looking forward to reconnecting with the community soon 😊

In the meantime, I wanted to share a new personal project I recently launched:

🎙️ “Katy In Control”

After years working between TANGO and EPICS environments, I wanted to create something that helps explain industrial control systems and SCADA architectures in a simpler and more accessible way — especially for younger engineers and newcomers entering our field.

So naturally… I started with Star Wars 😄
