Exhibition
On Thursday, June 14th all Refreshments will be served downstairs in the APS Gallery, where we will offer demonstrations of EPICS software and provide space for exhibitors to show EPICS-related products and services during the coffee and lunch-break. The first afternoon plenary session will finish at 3:00pm to allow more time to watch the demonstrations and view exhibits.
Commercial exhibitors will be allocated space (the prospectus page has details), and we also welcome non-commercial EPICS-related projects to bring interesting hardware or software to show. We will have some large monitors set up for software demonstrations, but expect these to be in demand so time on them will have to be booked in advance. If you have something you'd like to show, please notify Andrew Johnson <[email protected]> as early as possible so we can reserve space for you.
Key Exhibitors
Many of you may remember Ryan Pierce of Chicago's Analytics Lounge, who gave a Kegnote presentation about brewing beer using EPICS at the Collaboration Meeting in Oak Ridge in September 2016. Ryan will be bringing his brewing equipment and its control system to show at the exhibition. Unfortunately we can't offer a taste of his results because neither Argonne nor the conference dinner restaurant will allow us to hold a beer tasting, for liability and/or licensing reasons. Sorry, we tried really hard...!
