Jim,
In the near future I will be integrating a Spectrum DSP board into
an EPICS control system. I may (or may not) make heavy use of
sequencers to do most of the work. However, I am curious of your
implementation with the Pentek board: 1) how does the vxWorks interrupt
"alert" record processing that something needs to be done, and 2) what
kinds of records are you using? How do you connect those records to the
data coming through the system? Is it using pvPut's & pvGets? I also
would like to know if you have any ideas for record types or modifications
that would enhance the support of DSP cards. It seems to me that each
application would be too unique to generalize, but the results could be
put into waveforms, etc.
