A few of the things that need to be handled by a new operating system are listed
below. I was hoping that we could find equivalent function in the symbol table
support, so that we could minimize the reworking of these areas. Any thoughts
on these issues?
Subroutine records are bound to their subroutine using global symbol table
calls.
Diagnostics are just subroutines local to the code that they diagnose.
Sequences are incrementally loaded, started and stopped by spawning tasks from
a symbol in the global name space.
