In re: 3) At Gemini we are looking at using CIO (Command I/O) records
that have a non-process passive argument list and a trigger field that initiates
processing. Each CIO record would map to a specific subsystem command and have
links to the 'real' section of the database.
Kim Gillies ([email protected]) is the principal architect of this
record idea and it is the focus of our first Interface Control Document for the
upcoming CDR.
