Hi. Can someone please post a brief update on (apologies for doing this just
in advance of a collaborators meeting):

1. Current client machines (Suns, HPs, Alpha?, ...) supported and Operating
   Systems (SunOS, HP/UX, VMS, Solaris?, ...) plus work in progress

2. Current IOC processors supported (M680x0, Sparc?, Alpha?, ...) plus work
   in progress

3. State of play on support for other than VxWorks real-time OS

4. State of play on portable CA server

I know that this sort of thing comes up quite regularly. What does anyone think
about a FAQ, which could be posted to the mailing list occasionally plus made
available via Mosaic? In the spirit of giving as well as taking, I would be
happy to coordinate such a thing.
