Bug in DM using long records?

Can anyone confirm the following behaviour of DM?  I think it is be a bug, and a 
fairly old one at that:


I have a longin record, Soft record type, running in an IOC running 3.12Beta1, 
but I suspect the IOC release is irrelevant.

I have a display created using EDD (3.12Beta1), with a Valuator and an Indicator 
both connected to the above longin record.

When I run up the display under DM, the limits on both the Valuator and 
Indicator are not the same as the High and Low Operating range of the record.

If I move the valuator, the Indicator does not move, although it is obviously 
being refreshed.  However I can use cau to monitor the record and it shows it 
changing correctly to the Valuator settings. If I ask the DM window to refresh, 
the Valuator jumps to a seeming random value, although cau does not show the 
record changing.

I have checked this using DM from 3.11.4, and a similar behaviour occurs.
