We have one of these systems. It costs $50-100 per cdrom for materials
and operator time to make one cd. Making a bunch the same would reduce
that some, perhaps to $40 each. Raw materials cost $20 or so plus some
operator time and software and equipment maintenance. Altogether a little
more expensive than making a tape.
