MEDM running with fvwm |

Here's an odd one for you all.
I'm experimenting with the fvwm virtual window manager (which is very nice,
btw). Unfortunately, when using MEDM, the pop-up menus appear only to slide
almost immediately under the main window. I have to either pop them up close
to the bottom-right so I can select items, or bring up an object palette/tear
off a menu.
What gives? All my other applications seem to be able to pop up menus with
fvwm, but not MEDM.
