I notice that Makefile.Unix includes a -u strerror on the link command. The build
seems to be quite happy (except for sharable executable format) if I drop the
-lansi and include -lm.

I'm in the process of modifying the makefile to agree with the 
linknload/build.solaris script provided by VNI. I'll pass the results back to
Mark Rivers when it's working.

Evidently there is a need for the CONFIG files to have a configurable way to 
compile and link shareable images.
