EPICS extensions porting to Solaris (native) and IRIX

            Build of EPICS extensions on Solaris 2.4 and IRIX 5.2
                                  Update 2

Since my last post I have done a bit more fiddling and built more of the
extensions on Solaris (native port, no UCB compatibility) and IRIX.

The following table shows what things I was able to build in /extensions/lib

The following table shows what things I was able to build in /extensions/bin.
These were again built with only very minor modifications.  I will send the
changes I made to Janet Anderson so that they can be integrated with changes
others have made (for Alpha, HP, etc) and incorporated in a future release.

medm was built with Tony Cox's stubs for the Xrtgraph routines. I have tested
km with a SunDials box on a Solaris system and it works. km on the SGI does not
support a dial box yet.

What did not work:

- Any of burt tools. Compilation errors on all platforms.

- dm or edd on anything but sun4

- free_gdct or gdct. Requires interviews which I had not installed.
