Porting of CDEV (with ca) to VMS

Hi Folks,

I see from the cdev admin guide that cdev has been ported to VMS, but without
channel access service. I'm planning to expand an existing application here
at SSRL using cdev/ca under VMS. If anyone has already ported cdev/ca please
let me know. If not, I'll gladly make sources available when I've done.

BTW - VMS/AXP goes 64 bit at the next release (v7, dec/jan). I hope that the
cdev sources havn't been written assuming sizeof(int) == sizeof(long)....
