I expect you'll get an authoritative answer from John Winans or Jim
Kowalkowski.  In the meantime, here's a user's answer:

Yes.  John Winans has included support for using this module via hideos
in drvGpib.c, and has written device support that communicates with
hideos (Gpib.cc).  This stuff requires an MVME162-xx IP carrier.  Once
you have hideos going, it's trivial to convert between the now three
supported GPIB spigots (IP-488, Bitbus, NI-1014).  We've been running
GPIB pretty casually in this way for several months.  We haven't beat
on it really hard, and we haven't tried interrupts.
