KECK also has "drvSerial.c" which is layered underneath
of an Allen Bradly DF1 driver, a compumotor SX driver,
and a bar code reader driver.
The routines in drvSerial.c provide read/write queues which
prevent hanging the scan tasks when communicating with a
serial device via standard io.
