I had actually ported the ezca calls to perl some time ago.
I have a perl module which can be called directly from perl. I have been
experimenting with this for a while.
It works nicely. I am still in alpha mode, will one day add it to the
EPICS distribution as an extension.
Currently I am interested in doing ca instead of ezca.
Any interested parties let me know.
