Dear All,

William mentioned adding a new field for "truncation", while
we're on the subject of new fields for records, how about 
encouraging everyone writing new records to include a field:

        field(VERS,DBF_DOUBLE) {
                prompt("Version Number") 
                promptgroup(GUI_DISPLAY) 
                special(SPC_NOMOD)
                interest(1)
        }                

so that running applications can easily find out which particular
version of a record they are using. I added such fields to the
Gemini records when I did the conversion to 3.13.
