Has anyone out there in the EPICS communitiy ever tried to control a CAMAC
crate with a GPIB based CAMAC controller?  I just need to initialize the crate
and download discriminator thresholds very infrequently.  There is no
requirement to transfer data back to the IOC other than a completion
status.  A colleague has lent me a DSP Technology CC-488 GPIB
Crate Controller. Is this type of GPIB usage supported by the EPICS
community?  Any information will be greatly appreciated.
