Hi Garrett,

(I copied this to tech-talk also in case it is of wider interest.)

What I have is a Joerger VWG 100 MHz, 12-bit arbitrary waveform (or
function) generator. It has a 256 kword memory (other memory options are
available) for storing a waveform and can be triggered both externally and
internally (from software). There are several trigger options, but the
basic mode would do what you want (trigger at 30 Hz).
The card accepts an external clock up to 100 MHz and also has an internal
100 MHz clock. The clock can be divided internally to get slower rates.

We use this card to drive an excitation kicker in our tune measurement
setup. The functions are calculated externally and downloaded to the
waveform generator.

I believe this card could do what you describe. But if you dont need the
100 MHz bandwidth, then the other solutions that have been posted in reply
to your question might be more attractive and the Epics support for those
is probably more mature. But I am of course willing to help you if you are
interested.

I hope this helps.

best regards,
		Timo
