All,
I committed the following patches to R3.13.3
into CVS at APS:
Bug 1
-----
Symptom: CA clients on all versions send search
messages for unresolved PV's more frequently
than is necessary _only_ if R3.13.3 IOCs are present.
Explanation: I fixed a problem where the local IP address
is not properly determined and therefore CA beacon
messages do not properly identify the server's
address. The bug will cause CA clients to search
for PVs which are not resolved to an any IOC
more frequently than necessary. This problem
was introduced when the network interface query
in R3.14 ( which is compatible with Tornado II )
was moved to R3.13.3 so that R3.13.3 would support
Tornado II. The bug does not exist before R3.13.3.
There will be a new tool in the next
release of R3.14 which will detect problems of
this nature.
Bug 2
-----
Symptom: The symbols sysIntEnable and sysIntDisable
are undefined when loading iocCore into vxWorks
Tornado II pc386, pc486, and pentium BSPs.
Explanation: I committed changes to avoid the
undefined symbols on these BSPs.
