Tom,
I have not heard of prior experience with EPICS and QNX. I assume that
you are hoping to run at least the EPICS client library under QNX.
The EPICS operating system abstraction interfaces have been completely
restructured in EPICS R3.14. Now all operating system specific code can
be found at base/src/libCom/osi/os. Currently, there are four ports:
vxWorks, RTEMS, WIN32, and POSIX. I seem to recall that QNX is a POSIX
RT compatible OS so it may turn out that parts of the QNX port have
already been completed. In any case, the code in EPICS R3.14
base/src/libCom/osi/os and the R3.14 application developers guide will
be a good place to start if you are considering taking a crack at the
QNX port. The build system compiler and OS specific configuration are in
base/configure/os.
