Way back in the day, I had a similar problem with the
Allen-Bradley 6008SV communicating to the remote I/O. It
was caused by pending interrupts at the time of the
reboot. If you disable interrupts in a rebootHookAdd
routine and wait some small amount of time, the interrupts
should clear. (If this is a similar problem that is)

I am about to do some hardware checking of the reset line
to confirm this,

but has anyone else seen this problem? do you have an
explanation for it and

is there a solution/workaround?
