vxworks location

Hi,

I created a RELEASE.solaris-sparc file to override the VX_DIR location.
VX_DIR = $(WIND_BASE)

Before executing gmake I setup WIND_BASE to point to the base location 
of the Tornado 2.0.2 installation.  Now I execute gmake and get:

gmake[2]: Entering directory 
`/usr/products/devel/savage/epics/base-3.14.1/config/O.vxWorks-ppc603_long'
.../../configure/RULES_BUILD:294: *** Recursive variable `VX_DIR' 
references itself (eventually).  Stop.
gmake[2]: Leaving directory 
`/usr/products/devel/savage/epics/base-3.14.1/config/O.vxWorks-ppc603_long'
gmake[1]: *** [install.vxWorks-ppc603_long] Error 2
gmake[1]: Leaving directory 
`/usr/products/devel/savage/epics/base-3.14.1/config'
gmake: *** [config.install] Error 2

When I use a hard coded directory for VX_DIR as in configure/RELEASE 
everything compiles as expected.

What did I miss?  Thanks
