Tech-talk is perfect; you're right that we don't have anywhere more 
appropriate right now.  Many thanks for the fix, which I have committed to 
CVS.  I will leave it to Janet Anderson to create a new release of cau as 
she sees fit when she returns.

As with many of our older tools, cau was written in the days of K&R before 
prorotypes were widely available, and we haven't had the time to go 
through and add them, although as you point out there are many places 
where we really should...
