Ben,
I think that that template was prepared by a tech writer here at LANL who
has long since departed, and I don't know personally what has become of it.
Since an integrated record reference manual will potentially have input from
many sources perhaps we should consider preparing a document template that
does not require a proprietary document system such as FrameMaker.
It has also been suggested that we could embed the record documentation in
each record's .dbd file using dbd keyword extensions specialized for
documentation.
Suggestions (and contributions) are gratefully solicited.
