The only thing I can think of which may take 20 minutes to timeout is arp
cacheing or routing information. (Default tcp_time_wait_interval is 4
minutes on Solaris 8 and 1 minute on Solaris 9).
Do you have another host trying to use the same IP as your IOC? Look at
'arp -a' on your solaris host and see what MAC address is associated with
that IP when it is acting up. Running snoop on the solaris host (if you
have root) may also show you what is happening.
