I thought there is a RTEMS BSP  for the Diamond Systems
Prometheus - the PC/104 x86 boards (??).

Perhaps a third option is to purchase the mvme2100 borad.
Mark River mnetioned that it costs around  1.5k.
It is limited to 32MB RAM, which might be enough for your
application. EPICS/RTEMS supports mvme2100, mvme2306/7
and mvme5500.
